Watch YouTube Videos In Higher Quality

I realize there are software hacks and Firefox extensions that allow you to watch YouTube videos in the highest available quality… this is better. In your YouTube account settings section you can set the default to display higher resolution and better audio.

If you don’t want to create a youtube account or if you are on a public terminal and don’t want to log into your youtube account you can still add &fmt=18 to the end of a normal YouTube URL. If there’s a high quality version available, that extra string will cause it to load.
