JVC Victor has some new HDD camcorders coming out in August, the GZ-HD30 ($999.95) and GZ-HD40 ($1,299.95). The cameras will have the following specs:
- 1,920 x 1,080 recording capability
- microSDHC memory card slot
- 1.8″ hard drive used
- Records in AVCHD and MPEG-2 formats
- Auto Light, Focus Assist, and Manual settings
- 16:9 widescreen flip-out display
