The Macally PowerLink is one of the coolest gadgets I have seen for the iPhone or iPod in  quite a while.  Typically the gadgets tend to be boring, not-so-useful, or “me too” technology.  The PowerLink however has some pretty cool/useful bits packed into it’s little black box.

1. Sync cable - small and easy to tote
2. Battery - backup battery if your device is running low (no idea how much juice it has)
3. Flash Drive - 2GB’s of flash memory for extra stuff you don’t want on your iPhone
