I remember when SSD drives were just a dream… and shortly after made it to a whopping 64GB’s.  Now the SSD market is getting closer to reality with high capacity drives like the 1TB OCZ Colossus 3.5-inch SSD SATA drive.  The drive is fast at 260MB/s of max read/write and sustained write speeds of 220MB/s.  The bad part, no surprises here, is the cost… $3,400.  I imagine the cost will come down… or only 3 guys will buy this thing… and I won’t be one of them.
