Remember Norton Motors? Most likely the answer is no. Norton went out of business in 1975 I believe. Old crusty fellows with nostalgia for the bike brand have been talking about reviving it for years. Well, it looks like their dream might be coming true with the Norton V4 1200cc motorcycle. To be totally fair, they have been at it since 2008, when Stuart Garner took over the company namesake, making a Norton Dominator, and three Commando variations. The Norton V4 Superbike is expected to be unveiled at the NEC Motorcycle Live Show on...

Hopefully you weren’t on the list of people who put money down and are waiting for the crowdfunded Skully augmented reality motorcycle helmet. If so, you are out of luck as Skully is filing for Chapter 7. In case you aren’t familiar with Chapter 7, it is the type of bankruptcy where there is no plan for repayment. This is the ultimate worst case scenario for crowdfunded ventures. Apparently, Skully has been scrambling for additional funding and a possible sale to Chinese tech giant LeEco. Neither came through. Word on the...

Indian Springfield Frontier 111 Side

The custom motorcycle shop Azzkikr Custom Baggers out of Phonex, Arizona has taken the Indian Springfield and modded it. This Indian has been dubbed the Frontier 111 and can quickly switch from a bagger to a cruiser in a few minutes.

I am not a fan of the larger front wheel bikes that are popular amongst a subset of riders, but they managed to make it look good. The front wheel is a thick spoke 26-inch style and uses a sprung front end for suspension. The modern ABS brakes are hidden inside of an aluminum hub.

Some other retro styling comes from items like the suicide shifter, modified fuel tank, vintage tail lights, and leather seat.

Sure it looks like a green Honda Grom, but there are a few differences other than the color. First off there are two versions, one with automatic (Z125) and one with a four-speed manual transmission (Z125 Pro). Apparently the Z125 Pro version is the one coming to the United States. Yippee. Whether this is a youngsters first bike or a 40-somethings tenth bike it is sure to be loads of fun. Perfect for running down to the local store as a pit bike for the races. Like the Honda Grom, the engine...

If you are one of the lucky few who have had the luxury of racing around on a 2-stroke dirtbike then you know how much fun they are. Better than drugs. Better than video games. One of the downsides of the traditional dirt bike is that they are loud. Loud often draws too much attention from angry neighbors or Johnny Law. Read on for the latest pair of electric motorcycles from Italy. ...

This is what happens when a builder with amazing skills has never been told “no” as a child. The sky is the limit. This bike was built by such a guy, Ludovic Lazareth, and is named the Lazareth LM 847. Some amazing bits about the bike include four single-sided swingers, brakes that are mounted on the rims, dual hub-center steering, a Ducati Panigale tail, transversely mounted TFX rear shock, and a 4.7-liter Maserati V8 engine with 470 horsepower. More pictures of this beast after the break.

The ultimate bug-out vehicle has to be the Russian ATV Tarus 2M. Not only does it have huge balloon tires but it is has a 2×2 drive system. And, if there happens to be an obstacle that you can’t get over you can just pick it up and carry it as it weighs just 103-pounds. There is a 3-speed transmission which will get you up to 37mph. Video of the Tarus 2M after the break. ...

The Yamaha R1 is a venerable super bike but doesn’t satisfy the needs of riders who prefer the “naked” bike look. You know, like the BMW S1000R or the Aprilia Tuono. The MT-10 is a thing of beauty and also a bit on the ugly side. Depends on the viewer or the angle I suppose. The 2016 MT-10 is now the third Japanese bike to enter the super-naked class of super bikes. It sports the CP4 cross plane crankshaft, an inline 4-cylinder 998cc R1 engine, switchable 3-level traction control, and D-mode for multiple engine...

The folks at Gibbs Sports Amphibians sure have been busy. As if their QuadSki wasn’t enough awesomeness they now have a motorcycle version, The Biski starts off as a motorcycle with a BMW engine then straps on a powerful water jet. I am sure it isn’t that simple, but that is how I imagine it. Video of the Biski motorcycle jet-ski after the break. ...

Don’t complain about your daily commute. At least not until you have watched this insane traffic jam outside of Beijing, China. First of all, I have never seen a road with hat many lanes of cars. Holy cow. Then in typical road planning madness they have to go through a checkpoint then merge down to 1/3 of the lanes. Additionally there are no painted lanes, good times. Either way, this has to be the most insane traffic jam I have ever seen. Video of the madness after the break.
