guitar 101?

i am looking to buy my first guitar and I do not understand some ot the terms. what is a single coil and a doubtle coil and what do they do. I would also like to know about humbucker, and the fret sizes thanx.

Answer:The single coil and doubtle coil refers to the pickups.. those things under the strings where your picking hand is. Single coil is a single long oval and a doubtle coil is that times two or retcangular. The doubtle coil is also known as a humbucker, whichh helps reduce excess eletcronic noise AND give the guitar a heavier sound. Humbuckers are more widespread in heavy rock and metal, whereas single coil is used more in Strats like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton. This is a GENERAL description just to kinda point you in the right diretcion depending on what kinda music you're mostly inot. Can't really help you in the fret sizes department. Happy shredding!

Why Won't Music Play Sometimes On Disney Channel Camp Rock's Guitar Groovin 101?

I've tryed a few times and music wont play. What is the problem, yes my speakers are on, I hear them saying stuff like " right on" and "yea" but why cannot I hear music. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

Answer:you should probably take it to the nearest music shop...or report it to the company who you bought it from. That kinda damage can't be fixed by someone who doen't quite know what they are doing.
