First off, where can I get one of these bad boys? Looks like our tax dollars are now buying beefed-up paintball guns for our soldiers in Iraq. The new gun, known as the FN303 or Individual Serviceman Non-Lethal System (ISNLS), shoots a 6.5 gram shell containing a mixture of paint and bismuth (a brittle metal made to fragment).
To give you an idea of how “beefed-up” this gun is… a regular paint gun shoots at about 400 pounds per square inch, while the ISNLS is regulated at about 900 PSI. Mix that with “fragmenting” metal and I seriously wonder how “non-lethal” this thing is… ouch!
