A plywood bike? Yep, Stanislaw Ploski, a Polish designer, has created a plywood bicycle. The bike, named Bonobo, uses laminated plywood for its flexible tendencies. The Bonobo Plywood Bike smoothes out the bumps acting as a natural shock absorber.
“The frame utilizes natural properties of plywood – a natural composite material that is light, strong, and absorbs vibrations. Geometry of the bike ensures a relaxed riding position and lets the user experience the pure pleasure of cycling.”
This plywood bike comes with a single speed drive train, hydraulic disc brakes, and green accent parts. More pictures after the break.
