Banana Slicer. Really?

I personally thought the banana slicer was a bit ridiculous. I mean it takes a few seconds, with a butter knife, to cut up a banana. Unless you are doing this several hundred times a day I don’t really see the need. I am apparently alone in this way of thinking though as this Hutzler 571 Banana Slicer has over 5,000 reviews! Heck, there is even a video review from a guy who’s deep voice could give Barry White a run for his money.
