Shoe Shaped Church

True story, sadly. This giant glass high-heel shoe is a a church. Yep. Not a shopping mall or kids play park, but a church. This blue glass shoe building is in the Chaiyi province of Taiwan. It is made of 320 tinted glass panels, is 36-feet wide, and costs about $700,000.

Why would a church want a giant shoe shaped building? According to Pan Tsui-ping, the administration’s recreation section manager, it was built to attract more women. Wow.  The new shoe building isn’t designed to be a place of worship, but rather a venue spot for weddings and other ceremonies.
