Painting Street Letters

Ever wondered how street lettering gets applied? Yeah, me neither.

This soothing video of street lettering being applied by hand is pretty amazing. I am not sure if this is how it is done in the US as this video is from Glasgow. Seems a big archaic to me, but it sure is fun to watch. Not only are these guys painting the letters free hand, they are also using some pretty simple tools. Basically a stick with an open box on the end. One guy is managing to pour the hot liquid paint into a moving target while the other lays down the lettering. Forget about the fancy footwork.
