I love kayaking but just don't get out enough to justify buying a kayak. And it seems most kayaks that people end up buying are boring plastic get-ups. The Cedar Strip Wood Kayak ($TBD) pictured above is simply stunning. If I was going to take up kayaking as a hobby, this would be my kayak.
The Cedar Strip Wood Kayak is 18' 4" and is handmade from a composite of Western Red Cedar strips and glass fiber. There are watertight storage compartments, a seat with backrest, adjustable foot braces, and carrying handles.
