There is also a slide-out shelf for placing your smartphone or MP3 player which comes in handy, especially if watching video. The IFIT-1 isn't wireless and uses a standard 3.5mm audio cable which tucks in to the bottom of the speaker when not in use.
How does it sound? Surprisingly good, it hits right up the middle with decent highs, mids, and lows. Not going to replace your Bose speaker system, but it isn't supposed to. Perfect for some tunes while at the beach, pool, etc, The best point is the fair $16 price point.
