Bosstown Dynamics Robot Fights Back

You have likely seen the Boston Dynamics robotic videos on the interwebs. They are getting better at performing all kinds of tasks. There are videos of them being kicked while walking to show off their stability and adaptability. Pretty amazing stuff.

Well, it was only a matter of time before another spoof video made its way online. This one is dubbed Bosstown Dynamics and shows a robot fighting back. Video after the break. (more…)

This is one freaky cool robot dog. I have not seen a robot move as well as this one does. The motors on the unit make it sound like a thousand bumble bee’s attacking, but the robot walks like a dog (seems more like a deer to me however). Amazing how well it is able to traverse over terrain, take a big kick from a bully, walk on ice/snow, and jump. Boston Dynamics Spot Mini Robot

This Boston Dynamics robotic dog creature is the stuff of nightmares. This version, the Spot Mini, is smaller, quiter, and works with other devil robot dogs to solve problems. In other words I will be having nightmares for quite a while.

As if the Boston Dynamics Big Dog robots weren’t scary enough, out comes a smaller one that can climb fences, traverse stairs, and open doors (sorta). The end is near. This robot is built by Ghost Robotics and is called the Minitaur ($10,000). Watch the video below while I build a wall around my house and upgrade my bolt locks.
