Gibbs Terraquad Amphibious UTV 3

The Gibbs Terraquad Amphibious UTV plays well on land and in the water.  In fact it can go 50mph on land and 45mph on the water. Very respectable speeds for both.

The downfall of such a Swiss Army Knife style of vehicle is that it won’t be a “great” UTV or boat. It will be good enough, however. It has tiny tires and just rear wheel drive. In other words, don’t expect to conquer the rubicon trail in this amphibious UTV.

The folks at Gibbs Sports Amphibians sure have been busy. As if their QuadSki wasn’t enough awesomeness they now have a motorcycle version, The Biski starts off as a motorcycle with a BMW engine then straps on a powerful water jet. You can now buy a Gibbs Quad Ski ($40,000) if you have that kind of money to throw around. The Quad Ski will do 45mph on land and/or water. The Quad Ski is powered by a 4 cylinder 1300cc 16 valve DOHC engine that powers the rear tires and a jet drive. Video of the QuadSki in action after...

Looks like this bad boy amphibious ATV and Jet Ski is likely to go in to production.  The Quadski will do an impressive 50 mph on both land or water.  I can see the resort towns and luxury beach hotels...
