I had no idea Epson (the printer people) started making FPV Smart Glasses designed for the drone market. In this case they are made specifically for the DJI line of drones. And from a light dive into the reviews it turns out they are pretty darn good. Unlike the bulky DJI Goggles, the Epson BT-300FPV glasses do not block your line of site. The Epson DJI goggles come preloaded...

Police in China have been using facial recognition glasses for a while now. I know, great news right? As if the censorship, internet traffic spying, and general oppression isn’t enough. To be fair America is tied for second in this race to spy on its own citizens. Not cool. Well, China is doubling down on these facial recognition glasses which must mean that they like the results. The glasses are made by LLVision Technology and are used for things like spotting known criminals, checking travelers registration, vehicle registration...

Shoei Neotec II

If you have ever ridden motorcycles in a group setting you know how fun, and frustrating, it can be. It is fun because you get to share the ride experience with friends and are more visible riding in a group. It is a bit frustrating at times when you are in the middle of the pack and need to stop for a restroom break and have no way of communicating with other riders around you.

One way to solve this is to bolt on a SENA Bluetooth Helmet Headset onto your existing helmet. Not the most elegant helmet addition, but it works. Well the folks at SENA and SHOEI have joined forces for a seamless helmet communication system, the Neotec II Helmet.

SENA’s exclusive SRL Communication System is tailored specifically to the NEOTEC II helmet. When installed, the SRL is virtually undetectable from the outside of the helmet, and functions with a simple 3-button control. Chat with other riders via bluetooth intercom, listen to music, hear turn-by-turn GPS directions, and much more with the SRL. Learn more about the SRL here.

The NEOTEC II is an every-occasion helmet with the adaptability to excel no matter where your next journey takes you. The convenient “flip-up” versatility of a true two-in-one helmet combined with next-level aerodynamics, an internal sun shield, Pinlock® EVO fog-resistant system, and the ability to seamlessly integrate with the all-new SENA SRL (SHOEI Rider Link) Communication System, the NEOTEC II is the pinnacle of modular helmet design for today’s hybrid motorcyclists.

You can’t make this stuff up. Subtle Butt ($12 for 5) are antimicrobial activated charcoal pads that stick on to the inside of underwear to neutralize odors that pass through it. Who knows if it actually works. I certainly can’t test it as I don’t fart. This product raises so many questions that I had to list them. How did this product actually go from a bad idea to a real product? How did this product get over 300 reviews on Amazon? Who...

Waterproof socks? Who knew? These sporty socks are pretty well reviewed and manage to allow your feet to breath while keeping them dry even if you step in a puddle. These high-tech waterproof socks are made of three layers to pull of this magic. Outer layer: 74% high waterproof nylon, 23% lycra, 3% elastane; Inter layer: high performance lightweight fabric with breathable and...

Up until now, most of the wearable camera options have been pretty dorky at best. Think Google Glass or Snapchat Spectacles. Two solid thumbs down.  The PogoCam has made an easy to use camera that is small enough to add on to your existing glasses (translation –...

While perusing Costco this past weekend I noticed a large insole kiosk. The kiosk was named “resa” and they were busy scanning folks feet and 3d printing insoles. Pretty cool idea. Surprisingly there are almost zero reviews of the RESA custom insoles. I will try and swing back over there later today and try a pair out. Update to come. ...

If you haven’t heard of Icon, they are craftsman who reincarnate classic vehicles. They mix the best of old and new to create amazing pieces. The Icon Duesey Watch manages to create something simplistic and timeless. The dial is made of onyx stone, the guts are swiss-made, the strap is alligator skin, and the body is 42mm’s of titanium. There will only be 50 numbered Icon Duesey Watches in the world at a price of $11,500 each. This is not...

The FrontRow Wearable Lifestyle Camera ($399) is a tad less cringey than the Google Glasses. I am not sure I would want to have a conversation with someone wearing a camera/microphone pointed at me the entire time. I guess I am not the target customer because I am sure there are voyeuristic folks who will love the idea...

After loosing two pairs of my favorite sunglasses (Maui Jim’s) to the ocean, I wondered why they don’t float. Hey Maui Jim please make your sport line-up of sunglasses float. Until then, here are some options for sunglasses that float. No need for the embarrassing leash or strap. ...
