Who wouldn't want a gadget that shoots lighting at the pull of a trigger?  Ok, my wife wouldn't want one.  But I would, seriously, put this on my list of gifts I will most likely never get.  The Tesla lightning gun pictured above was built by Rob Flickenger and he has put together a very detailed "˜how to' for the Tesla Gun. The Tesla Gun is powered by an 18-volt cordless drill battery which powers up a bank of capacitors and a transformer from an old TV.  The power is stepped up from...

Tesla finally pulled the wraps off of the all electric Model X.  At first glance it looks a bit small, but it isn't.  The Model X can hold 7 passengers without giving up on luggage space.  In fact, not only is there luggage space in the rear of the car, there is also a bunch of storage up front where a traditional motor would...

This new technology is called the eCoupled PowerSpot and once installed all you need to do is park over the tech and your...

Looks like the all electric RAV4 may be coming back, this time with an electric powerplant from Tesla Motors.  In fact, Tesla may be doing much of the assembly if CNN is right.  Look for the...

I, secretly, love the Prius, and I love the Tesla (but I am 6'3" and don't fit), the news that Toyota and Tesla are going to start working together is awesome. ...

Who will win?  The 2010 all electric Tesla Roadster or the 2011 all new Porsche Boxster Spyder?  Motor Trend compares the two cars in a race at Willow Springs Raceway.  Watch the video after the break to see which car wins.
