Weight lifting and workout equipment tends to focus on function and totally ignore form. Maybe that is going to change. Henriette Melchiorsen has designed some (only 2.19lbs though) artistic looking dumbbells. They are nice enough to put on a coffee table or mantel in fact. At $200 they seem to be priced more as an art piece than a dumbbell set.
