iPhone 3G Disassembly Video & Take Apart Directions
Filed in Announcements, Cellphones on Jul.12, 2008
PDAparts.com has just finished doing a complete step by step video on how to disassemble the iPhone 3G. Just like last year with the first iphone they are the first to release a free video with directions on how to properly take apart the iPhone 3G. Soon they will have OEM replacement screens available for those unfortunate enough to break the screen on their new iPhone 3G. Keep in mind this will void the warranty.

Mike – I did mine in about 30 minutes, but I took my time. It wasn’t that hard. Assuming you have used a screwdriver b4.

Went to their site and bought a iphone 3G digitizer I think the part number is IP-2213 and repaired my cracked iphone touch screen in 20 minutes. I noticed they also offer a complete screen for more that looks even easier to install if you broke both the lcd and touch screen.

Jim – some folks struggle to open a can with a can opener. Just the way it is.
