The Pohang Institute of Intelligent Robotics (PIRO) in South Korea has come up with a window washing robot called the Windoro. The window cleaning robot should be ready for prime time next year for about $260,000. The unit is comprised of two modules that will cling to each other through the glass (under 25mm thick) via neodymium magnets.
Does this even make sense? What happens when it has to go between offices or turn corners? Maybe the $260,000 price tag includes two full time robot helpers?
