Does the idea of a blackout and no TV keep you up at night? Get an uninterruptable power supply (UPS), problem solved. I mean what good is a battery powered TV if your cable/satellite box doesn't have power? Either way, Toshiba now has a family of battery powered LED TV's (up to 32-inches) that will keep you on the couch for about two hours via internal rechargeable batteries.

Excellent idea for people with mobile lives, but netbooks and tablets can already do this by wifi linkups and this method is still a lot pricey compared to before. Plus the hdtv tuner is the premium extra cost in so far.
