Believe it or not the bloated 3 series cars of today came from a line of smaller/leaner sports coupes. The BMW 328 Hommage is a reminder of that lean and mean fighter of days past. The 75th anniversary of the 328 will spawn a few of the 328 Hommage cars which sport a retro design, an open top, carbon fiber reinforced plastic, a 3.0L six-cylinder engine, and only 1,720 pounds. Can't wait to see this car in action, the power to weight ratio is no joke.
