Are you the type who loses your keys or smartphone? My friend Pete is… In fact, just last week he lost his keys which prevented a hunting trip from happening. Come to think of it, he even lost his cordless phone, still hasn't found it after over a week. Ha. Don't tell Pete, but he is most likely getting a Cobra Tag as his next gift.
This type of gadget isn't a new one, however this sensor system seems to have thought of, almost, everything.
The Cobra Tag is comprised of a GPS sensor that you attach to any item you want to protect from loss, say your keys. The sensor then communicates with your smartphone via a free app.
You can even set alerts to have the phone or sensor will start beeping if they are ever more than 30-feet apart. If you happen to lose your phone, instead of your keys, you can simply press the button on the Cobra Tag sensor and your phone will ring. My favorite feature is the ability to check on the Cobra Tags location via GPS coordinates.
Now for the bad news, it is currently only available for Android and Blackberry smartphones. Huh? No iPhone support?
