You have to love the false security that we constantly wrap ourselves in. Who has a glass window in their locked front door, or on both sides of the door? Yep, not very secure whether it is locked or not. For that matter, any house with windows is a big sense of false security. A kid with a rock can get in to your house faster than you can with a key.
