For those wanting to test the waters of 360-degree videos and pictures the Ricoh Theta SC might be worth looking at. It is a follow up of the Theta S, with main improvements being weight and price.
The Ricoh Theta SC ($300) comes with two F2 aperture lenses and 1/2.3-inch 12-megapizel CMOS sensors capable of shooting 360-images and full HD video at 1920 x 1080 30fps. Not earth shattering specs but not bad at just $300.
