A relatively unknown newcomer to the transportation scooter game, Cocoa Motors, has put out a pretty cool video or two showing off their latest scooter. The Cocoa Motors WALKCAR ($1,280) is a laptop sized hover-board type gadget. The body is made of carbon fiber, it is just 13-inches wide, it has a 10mph top speed, weighs just over 6 pounds, and charges in 60 minutes (with a 60 minute drive time as well).
At first glance I thought the WALKCAR would be totally unstable and scary to ride over bumps. After watching the video I am impressed as the rider took it over some rough terrain (video after the break). No idea if this product will make it to market or be a success but it looks pretty darn cool. Cocoa Motors hopes to ship their first WALKCARs in September of 2017.
