The screen is the flex – a bright little HUD instead of a sad seven-segment calculator from 2004. One-button measuring keeps jobsite muscle memory intact. It will not replace a framing square, and shiny glass or noon sun can still gaslight any laser; bring a backup tape when the universe is being difficult.
