Jon Sarriugarte and a friend figured out how to speed up the aging process of alcohol. They took a luminous transformer and pumped 15,000 volts of electricity into some inexpensive bitter brandy. Long story short… the bitterness and taste improved.
After their first tests the proceeded to build a more elaborate system with copper pipes and a Jacob’s Ladder, named VOLT/AGED. If a video makes it online let me know.
