Pole Climbing Bike Lock Makes It Tougher For Thieves To Steal Your Bike

Pole Climbing Bike Lock

A group of engineers and bicyclists from Germany have built a bike lock that basically climbs a normal street light type pole.  The pole climbing bike lock currently does not have a name or price, but sure is clever.  The bike lock is operated via a remote control.  Most crafty crack heads who steal bikes can't climb poles, perfect.  The only problem is another pole climbing bike lock owner double parks just below your bike.  Video after the break.
