Stihl Battery Chain Saw

The Stihl MSA 160 C-BQ Lithium Ion Battery Powered Chain Saw is a thing of beauty.  Granted you can only run an hour at a time, but that is more than enough for most folks.  No more noxious fumes, mixing gas and oil, our loud chain sawing. 

The Stihl MSA 160 uses a 36-volt lithium ion battery and an energy management system that keeps the saw at full speed until the battery is depleted.  In other words, it won't get slower and slower until the battery dies,

    The new Stihl battery powered chain saw is a nice tool, however it plus the 160 battery and the charger is priced to where only the rich or fools with no sense of money value would buy it. I’d love to have one, but Stihl needs to get realistic on their prices first. You can buy the best Stihl gas chain saw for less than this puppy.
