A Bar Inside A 6000 Year Old Baobab, Unleash The Hippies
First thing first, WTF is a baobab you may ask? A baobab is a tree, a huge friggin tree, that grows real old, older than John McCain old… The one in our story is over 6000 years old! So what do you do with the worlds widest and most famous baobab tree that symbolizes Africa, […]
Sennheiser MX W1 Wireless Headphones – Not Bluetooth
Sennheiser – the maker of expensive, awesome audio gear, has come out with a badass set of wireless headphones. The MX W1 wireless earphones use a wireless technology named Kleer (not Bluetooth), the kleer wireless transmission range is about 33 feet. Sennheiser realized that not all ears are the same size and engineered a twist-to-fit […]
Olympus Stylus 1050 SW Digital Camera – Waterproof, Shockproof, And Freezeproof
Olympus released a batch of new cameras today… the coolest of which (in my opinion) is the Stylus 1050SW. The new 1050 SW will work in temperatures as low as -10 degrees Celsius. The camera features a newer technology dubbed “tap control” which allows you to tap on the cameras edges to control certain functions. […]
Fisker Karma – Funny Name – Cool Hybrid Car
Looks like Tesla and Aptera finally have some competition… although it seems to trump them both… sorta. Fisker Automotive, plans on having this hybrid car available for sale in 2010. The car goes from 0-60 mph in about 5.8 seconds, can run on electric only mode for 50 miles before the gasoline engine/generator even turns […]
Buddha Board – Zen Like Magical Painting Surface
While shopping in Santana Row yesterday I bumped into a pretty neat Zen-like item for the home or office – the Buddha Board. The Buddha Board is a painting surface that reacts with water to change from a whitish/gray to black when painted on (with water). After a bit of time the board fades back […]
Asahi BeerBot – Beer Pouring Robot
Let me start off by saying that they are sold-out…huge bummer! The Asahi BeerBot is a tiny R2D2 looking robot that will refrigerate, store, open, and pour your beer for you. I am not sure of the price, or if more will be coming back into stock anytime soon… but I want one. Forget about […]
Cocktail Chemistry Set… Cool
Very cool cocktail set that looks like a mad scientists lab. I could have used this when I was in college, back then I was using old Taco Bell cups and straws. The kit is available for less than $39 and comes with everything you need (minus the booze) to get the party started. [Source]
New iPhone Has Pictures Of Workers Who Made Them…
Looks like another iPhone came with pictures from the factory in China. These look slightly more intentional. At least the girl is cute… kinda like the girl who sang during the opening ceremonies for the 2008 Beijing Olympics (ha).
Palm Treo Pro – Is Palm Back?
Is Palm back? I say, “not yet”. Why? Because Palm’s latest smartphone, the Treo Pro, is using, arguably, the worse phone platform – Windows Mobile. The smartphone looks cool… it comes unlocked (Tri-band UMTS/Quad-band GSM), has a high-resolution color touch screen, built in Wi-Fi, GPS, removable battery, a microSDHC slot, and a 2-megapixel camera. Not […]
First Time I have Ever Yearned For An Ice Cube Maker
Coolest ice maker/container I have seen in my short life. The IceOrb uses an internal cup to push the ice into the vertical cube holders. I read the description for this thing about 5 times and was still lost. Watch the video and you should get the idea. Not bad for $16!
