Touch Wood – Is that Really The Name?
Call me juvenile… but when I saw Japan’s main cell phone carrier, NTT Docomo, pitching wood (snicker) I was cracking up. NTT Docomo’s latest concept phone is called the TOUCH WOOD (snicker)… and is basically a phone wrapped in surplus wood. I guess some things really are lost in translation… touch wood… ha!
World’s Fastest Laptop? Alienware Quad-Core M15X
Alienware is no stranger to putting as much power as can physically be fit in a box… so didn’t surprise me when they claimed to have the “world’s fastest” laptop. Alienware’s m15x notebook is running Intel’s fastest mobile CPU.. the i7 (Clarksfield”). Don’t expect a bargain price… current configurations like this will cost you about […]

Nokia, in an effort to take over the wireless world, is setting their sites on the kids with their latest phone the Nokia Twist (Model 7705). The Nokia Twist is square and swivels out from a ring on the corner. Sorta neat. The phone is set to debut on the Verizon network (wish Apple would […]
Leica M9
The famous Leica Rangefinder camera in a digital format… the Leica M9. The Leica M9 (£4,850; roughly $8,075) is the world’s first full-frame Leica digital rangefinder, and also the world’s smallest full-frame camera, period. It boasts an 18 megapixel, full-frame 24 x 36mm sensor, full compatibility with Leica’s M lenses, ISO from 80 to 2500, […]
