Cherry Cloud Computer

CherryPal has announced their new cheap, green, cloud computer which they claim will only use two watts of power.  The tiny desktop is a stripped down cloud computer with a 400MHz processor, 256MB of RAM, and 4GB of flash memory.  The unit has built in wi-fi and runs Debian Linux.  Look for it on August 4th.

    From the toxic factories of China comes this little nugget. Soooo its like another under powered thin-client targeted piece of shyet with a cute name. Not enough juice to do anything functional with, sapping apps off network – is that green? Going with VGA was a stroke of genius too, maybe I can blow the dust off my 21inch CRT Viewsonic monitor, hey thats green too right? Whoever came up with it should have his cherry popped via repeat insertion of the Cherry Pal… George Carlin RIP 🙁
