Boston Dynamics Big Dog

This is one freaky cool robot dog. I have not seen a robot move as well as this one does. The motors on the unit make it sound like a thousand bumble bee’s attacking, but the robot walks like a dog (seems more like a deer to me however). Amazing how well it is able to traverse over terrain, take a big kick from a bully, walk on ice/snow, and jump. The project of Boston Dynamics, with funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
