Future Retro Potty Pod House

Reboot house

Someone please tell me when will the fad for pseudo-futuristic retro organic idiocy go away?! Feast your eyes on this sample of architectural masturbation by Victor Vetterlein, cleverly titled Reboot (that’s what you do after too many beers or reading about this utopian tripe). Yes it’s another fully autonomous organically shaped self sustaining environment friendly fully autonomous solar wind tide powered rain water collecting digitally controlled nearly self aware eco friendly living POD. Did I mention that its eco friendly and fully autonomous?! Sooo when will these things go into mass production to solve all of the worlds problems? Right about the time we all get personal jetpacks and join the Federation of Planets… The “hard specs” include an internal environment which is digitally controlled and operated by voice activated sensors, remote controls, touch pads, or remotely from a mobile phone or computer. The building is constructed with a space frame, and the outer skin increases structural strength through double curvature. The skin system consists of a vapor barrier, dense foam insulation, and metal sheathing where the exterior face is glazed in solar cell paint. The surface of the building serves as a solar energy collector. Every gadget imagined and not yet imagined will be incorporated into this Pod. By the way Designer-Dude, Jetsons called and they want their crapper back!

Gene I couldn’t agree with you more. This is a spank-fest if I ever saw one. Why does an active imagination with a goofy rendering make it on any news site? Build something then we can talk about it.

When I saw this picture I thought it was some kind of a floating thing. If a toilet and a Starship Enterprise did the nasty this is what would come out.
