Walt Mossberg (ahead of schedule of course) got his hands on the new Apple iPhone 3G… he likes it but isn’t super impressed. The key points are these:
- Likes the from factor
- 3G speeds are a big improvement over the EDGE network… duh
- Audio and phone quality are better
- New AT&T pricing plan sucks
- Battery life isn’t great
I wanted to get the unit for the speed advantage… but don’t like the idea of paying more money per month for data…. pass for now.
