5.11 Tactical Flashlight

Flashlights spend most of their lives sitting idle… while the batteries lose their charge.  So, that one time when you go looking for the flashlight in an emergency it is dead.  You could charge the batteries, but that takes hours.  That was then… the 5.11 Tactical UC3.400 Light For Life (that really is the name) solves all of these problems.

The flashlight uses a ultra-capacitor to hold its electrical charge and only takes 90 seconds to fully charge.  The charge will last for about 90 minutes of light… and can be charged over 50,000 times.  The Life For Life flashlight will be available early next year for about $170.

If only I could get this technology in my iPhone.

I have a flash light that recharges in 2 seconds, or however long it takes to shake it. It is one of them kinetic charged ones. I WIN!
