Antifreeze Ice Cream Scoop

I am addicted to ice cream, there I said it.  Sometimes our freezers temperature fluctuates and scooping the ice cream out of the tub is almost impossible with a standard spoon.  I have already bent several spoons instead of waiting for the ice cream to warm up a bit.  You can’t deny a ice cream addict his fix.

That all just changed with the purchase of my (super strong) antifreeze ice cream scooper.  Best money I have spent in quite some time, the handle feels good in your hand, doesn’t get cold, and is super sturdy.  The best part is that it only cost $7.95.

This handy ice cream scoop has an anti-freeze liquid in handle. The heat from the scooper’s hand warms the liquid and makes cutting into hard ice cream a breeze. This #12 scoop creates 3 oz portions or about 24 scoops per gallon.

If you are still with me… watch a dude eat 15 large scoops of ice cream in under 3 minutes after the break.

Don’t know if what you have is exactly the same. But, a very similar product from Ft. Pierce, FL has been around for years (a certain someone from that city had one while attending UCD). It looks to be the same size and shape, different finish (hers is flat grey rather than polished silver). It’s made by Zeroll although may be branded as something else. And, the current ones no longer have “Ft. Pierce” stamped on the handle. Kind of surprised your fiance hasn’t already gotten one. You can check out other products at http://www.zeroll.com

@KSU, its an ice cream spoon… The possibility of someone else “inventing” one that similar are not exactly staggering 🙂
