Things may go bump in the dark, but you don’t have to be one of them! The First Alert motion sensing light socket turns the light on when you enter a room or open a closet, and then turns it off after you leave. It combines the safety and security of a well-lit room with the convenience of easy installation. The hands-free motion sensor screws right into a standard, uncovered light socket, just like a light bulb. No additional wiring is required. The socket senses motion within 360 degrees and is ideal for laundry rooms, garages, basements, attics, walk-in closets, and stairways. Use with 25 to 100-watt bulbs. Not for outdoor use.–Bree Norlander
