Digital Transition Goes Live Tomorrow

The digital transition that has been talked about, delayed, talked about some more, delayed, and talked about some more… is finally happening… tomorrow.  Some people don’t even know what this will mean to them, like my Grandma.  Basically the analog signal that most older TV’s use (form antennas and the like) will be shut down in favor of an all digital signal.

This was supposed to happen last February but over 5.8 million households were not ready for the transition.  Even with all of the delays and wasted tax dollars for advertising, they estimate that 2.8 million homes are still not ready.  Personally I think the number is BS and most likely much higher.  Many people will wait until they turn the TV on and it doesn’t work to seek answers.

Get your Grandma a digital converter box for $25 here.
