It looks like AT&T is finally spending some of the cash that the Apple iPhone made them on improving their weak spots, specifically NYC. For some reason, it must be a good one, AT&T has had crappy service in NY and San Francisco. It would seem that those should be the first markets to tackle as you have the highest density of people wielding high tech cell phones.
The NYC AT&T network is improved massively, dropped calls are down by 23% in Manhattan, blocked calls down 39%, and 3G speeds up 31%. About freaking time, now fix SF!
