My parents are professional campers/RV’ers. They travel around the US with a V-10 Dodge truck towing a large fifth wheel RV. When they arrive at their campsite it is like a professional military drill. They are leveling the camper, connecting water, electricity, sewer, and setting up a satellite dish on a home made pole system. Sometimes the satellite dish even works.
A company called VuQube makes a very solid portable satellite dish that is fully automatic, the VQ3000. You set down where it has a view of the southern sky and it does the rest. The VuQube VQ3000 is compatible with Dish Network, BellTV, and DirecTV. Yours for around $1,400.
