Anything that gets us from constantly using and disposing of tons of plastic water bottles is a good idea to me. Not to mention paying top dollar for average water in a disposable plastic bottle just seems silly.
The 3M Filtrete Water Station works like a Brita in that it uses gravity to filter water. The filtered water is then deposited in up to four 16.9oz BPA-free plastic bottles. The system is smart enough to only send water to openings with bottles… in other words you can attach only one bottle at a time if you desire. The kit with two bottles will set you back only $49.95 and you can buy two additional bottles for $20.
