Considering the Xi3 Mini Computer pictured above is about the size of a standard computer power supply, they sure didn't skimp on features or ports. The Xi3 has six USB 2.0 ports, a DVI port, two eSATA ports, audio in and out ports, a display port, an Ethernet port, and lastly some special Xi3 port. You get the option of a 1Ghz, 1.8Ghz, or 2.2Hhz AMD Athlon CPU.
The Xi3 claims that it will never be obsolete because of its modular design. The main bummer that I see is the lack of a hard drive and the fact that it will start too look quite messy as you add your external bits, like storage.
"Xi3 breaks the mold by separating the traditional computer motherboard into three distinct pieces, one for Processor and memory option, one for display and power options, and one for I/O or special connectivity options."
More than the specs is the impressive feat of jamming all of this goodness into a 4-inch aluminum cube. prices start at $850 (not cheap) and is available in very limited quantities starting today.
