One of the worst parts of 3D TV is the fact that you have to wear the dorky glasses. In fact, I believe as long as the glasses are a part of the equation, 3D TV will never go mainstream. With that said, it looks like 3D television is starting to turn the corner on glasses-free 3D. Nissho Electronics of Japan is now selling a 52-inch LCD panel that does full 1080p, 2000:1 contrast ration, 8ms response time, 700 nit brightness, a 60Hz refresh rate, and doesn't need 3D glasses. The TV is currently being marketed toward businesses and costs a whopping $20,820. As soon as the price drops I am in.
