This has been a busy morning for Apple. The Cinema Display is now a Thunderbolt Display, Mac OS X Lion is in the App store, the MacBook has been discontinued, the Mac mini is refreshed, and the MacBook Air is significantly improved. The most impressive of the batch is the new MacBook Air.
The new and improved MacBook Air (13-inch and 11-inch) now has the Sandy Bridge Core i5 and i7 processors, Thunderbolt ports, Intel HD 3000 graphics, Bluetooth 4.0, OS X Lion, and a backlit keyboard. The MacBook Air starts at $999 and quickly runs up to $1,599.
