Hangar One Moffet Field

Since Google doesn't have a shortage of money, or private jets, they are looking to rent the Moffet Field Hangar One.  They plan on putting eight private jets in the world's largest freestanding building.

Hangar One was built in the 1930s to hold the U.S.S. Macon airship (blimp).   The hangar is so large that it encloses about eight acres of floor space and has zero interior supports.

Apparently Hangar One is in bad shape and needs quite a bit of repairs, Google has offered to fix the hangar ($33 million) if they are allowed to use two-thirds of the floor space.
