NuForce NE-770X

When I first found out that the Nu Force NE-770X earphones retailed for $70 bucks (You can now find them online for about $49), I was a pessimistic to say the least.  I mean, come on!  I've bought ear buds from Skull Candy for $10.00 (on sale) that sounded great, and a pair from Sony that cost $30 that sounded pretty good.  Thirty dollars used to be my limit on ear buds, but now that's out the window because the NU Force NE-770X earphones are amazing!

They feature 8-mm neodymium drivers and weigh just 12 grams.  Just like a high-performance car, you have to break them in.  I recommend running them at mid-range volumes for six hours before you go full throttle.  When you finally get to crank up the volume the sound range is simply amazing! The bass hits deep lows without distortion and the highs sound crystal clear, and unlike my other earphones have a perfect midrange.

I never did get to full volume on these earphones, and I suggest you don't either unless you want to never buy earphones again,  because YOU CAN'T HEAR ANYMORE.  Hand cupped to ear, "what you say sonny?".
