If you, like me, are stuck with a set of brown eyes and really want blue eyes, you didn't have many options other than colored contacts. Well that may be changing soon as a doctor in Laguna Beach California, Dr Gregg Homer, has developed a way to turn brown eyes blue with the help of lasers. Dr Homer of Stroma Medical has created lumineyes technology which uses a a laser set at a certain frequency to remove the brown layer of pigment allowing the blue on to show through.
The Lumineyes technology should be available outside of the US in about 18 months and inside the US in about 3 years. Expect to pay about $5,000 to change the color of your eyes.
