If you have ever wanted the ability to use a lab quality microscope without the typical microscope user experience, check this out. The Bodelin ProScope Micro Mobile costs just $149 and mounts on to your iPhone 4, 4s, 5, iPod Touch, iPad, and iPad Mini. There is a different version depending on what you plan on strapping this digital scope to though.
The Bodelin ProScope Micro Mobile is powered by its own lithium-ion battery which takes two hours to charge (via USB) and will work for five hours. The power is used for both the digital microscope and the adjustable LED lighting. The ProScope Micro Mobile mounts to your iOS device via a nylon/ABS sleeve and provides magnification from 20-80x. The unit is also made entirely in the USA (Oregon to be specific), and should start shipping May 1st. Video of the Bodelin ProScope Micro Mobile in action after the break.
